'BILL' LOCKETT

HIDE-A-WAY LAKE - Services for William Kelsey "Bill" Lockett, 66, Hide-A-Way Lake, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hide-A-Way Lake Community Church with Ray Bratcher officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Sylvan Cemetery under direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home, Lindale.

Mr. Lockett died March 30 in a Tyler Hospital.

He was born Aug. 30, 1934, in Fairfax, Okla., to Victor James and Helen Kelsey Dresbach Lockett. He retired in 1993 from Phillips Petroleum Co. and had lived in Ada and Bartlesville, Okla. before moving to Hide-A-Way Lake in 1986. He served in the Army and was a member of Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary Lockett Hide-A-Way Lake; daughter, Kelsey Ann Ellson, Tulsa, Okla.; son, Michael Stephen Lockett, Atlanta, Ga,; brother, Jim Lockett, Fairfax, Okla.; sister, Madge Helen Evans, Tucson, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

FAIRFAX - John Allen Lockett, longtime Fairfax resident, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at his home. He was 57.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Fairfax Cemetery with the Rev. George Weston officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home in Fairfax.

John Allen Lockett was born Feb. 4, 1952, in Victorville, Calif., the son of Jim and Ann Mathis Lockett. He grew up in Fairfax and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1970.

He married Joan Mashburn in 1970.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristin Lockett Jones of Norman; his parents; sister, Jill Carey of Tulsa; two brothers, Jeff Lockett and James Scott Lockett, both of Fairfax; and one grandson.
