Obituary Bruce Duane Lego

Bruce Duane Lego, 74, of West Superior Street, died Sunday, July 28, 1996, in St. Mary's Medical Center.

Born in Minneapolis, he lived in the Duluth-Superior area most of his life. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a manager for a trailer park.

His parents were Andrew and Laura Lego.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Kimberly Lego of Oakdale, Minn., Yvonne Hansen of Cumberland, Wis., and Michelle Lego of St. Paul; one son, Bruce Lego II of Superior; and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation: 1 until 2 p.m. services Thursday in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

ETHEL ROWE, 82, REIFFSBURG NATIVE

Mrs. Ethel V. Rowe, 82, 5301 W. Jackson St., died Monday at the Delaware County Nursing Home after a short illness. She was the widow of Ervin Rowe, who died in 1970.

A native of Reiffsburg, Mrs. Rowe came to Muncie in 1934. She was a former of the Women of the Moose and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include an aunt, Mrs. Jean Nusbaum, Muncie, and seven cousins, Mrs. Florence Ammon, Muncie, Sam McClunny, Portland, Ralph Nusbaum, Florence Stastny, Dayton, Ohio, Irene Durham, Pauls Valley, Okla., A. S. Lockett, Electra, Texas, and Victor Lockett, Oklahoma City.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Conrad-Piepho Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel T. Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Tuesday or prior to services Wednesday.

Obituary David Lesseig II

Terre Haute Tribune December 14, 1942

DAVID LESSEIG DIES IN DETROIT HOSPITAL

Word has been received here of the death Saturday at Detroit of David Lesseig, for many years an account in Detroit and former resident of Terre Haute. Mr. Lesseig, who resided in Terre Haute for a number of years, was a past master of Masonic Lodge No. 19 of Terre Haute, serving in the office during the year 1901.

Mr. Lesseig, who was born in Pennsylvania, moved to Detroit about 31 years ago and was employed there as an accountant by the Burroughs Adding Machine Company. He died at Henry Ford Hospital following an illness of 6 months.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Detroit, with members of the Wayne Memorial Masonic Lodge in charge. Mr. Lesseig is survived by the widow, one daughter, a brother and one grandchild.

Obituary Hugh Kirkland Navin

Hugh Navin, Fortville Physician, Dies

Fortville - a long time Fortville physician and prominent citizen, Hugh K. Navin, M.D. died at 1:40 a.m. Saturday in the emergency room of Community Hospital at Indianapolis. He had resided at 314 N. Merrill and was 72 years of age.

A 1934 graduate of the Indiana University Medical School. Dr. Navin opened his office in Fortville July 4, 1935. He remained active with the practice until the time of his death.

He was a member of the Fortville United Methodist Church, the Fortville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Evansville, the Hancock County Medical Society, Methodist Hospital Staff Physicians, Methodist Hospital Foundation, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Sigma Nu Medical Fraternity and the American Medical Association. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation from President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for services rendered as a physician for the Selective Service Administration for four years.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn; a nephew, Jerry Wilson, Connersville; and a niece, Mrs. Jane Newby, Bloomington.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 AM at the Fisher funeral home in Fortville by the Rev. Chester Winter of the local United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 PM Monday.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Methodist Hospital Foundation or to a favorite charity.
