Elizabeth appears in the 1850 Pennsylvania, Mifflin County, Armagh Township Census enumerated July 30, 1850 living in the household of her husband Jacob Kepperling. Also enumerated are Sarah Strong, Elizabeth's mother age 55, Samuel Strong age 18, Foster Strong age 15, Martha Strong age 13 and Samuel Strong (this is actually Samuel McClunny) age 3. All were born in PA.

Elizabeth appears in the 1860 Pennsylvania, Miflin County, Brownfield Township Census enumerated June 28, 1860 living in the household of her husband, Jacob Keppering. Elizabeths's age is 40 Jacobl is 35. Also enumerated are Sarah J age 9, Winfield age 8, Walter L age 5 and Martha E age 2. All were born in PA.

MRS. SAMUEL MC CLUNNY DIES AT KEYSTONE

DEATH COMES AFTER ILLNESS OF 18 MONTHS - FUNERAL SUNDAY

Mrs. Amanda McClunny, 63, wife of Samuel McClunny, of Keystone, passed away this morning at 2:45 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora East, at Keystone, after an illness extending over about a year and a half from dropsy and complications.

Mrs. McClunny was born near Celina, Ohio, but had made her home for many years at Keystone. The husband survives, with one son, Floyd Wilson, of Rio Grande California, and one daughter, Mrs. East, at whose home she died. Mrs. Elnora Adams, of Celina, Ohio, is the stepmother. Nine brothers and sisters and several stepchildren, also survive.

The funeral will be held at the M. P. Church at Keystone at 10:45 Sunday morning, in charge of Rev. Hale, of the Friends Church. Interment will be made at Swamp College cemetery, near Celina, and short services will also be held there.

Obituary Millie Alexander (Palmer)

DIES AT HOME HERE

Mrs. Millie Palmer, 84, widow of Theo M. Palmer, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at her home, 616 South Hackley St. The body was removed to Meeks Mortuary.

Mrs. Palmer was born in Delaware County December 22, 1851, the daughter of James and Susan Taylor Alexander, pioneer residents. She lived at the Hackley St. address since November 10, 1886. She was a member of the Women's Relief Corps and a charter member of the Daughters of America.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George Reid, of Terre Haute; Mrs. William Hohn, Mrs. Henry O. Eaton, Mrs. Guy Tweedy, all of Muncie; a son, W.H. Palmer, of New Albany; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the mortuary, the Reverand Howard W. Cope officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Rosalyn Curtin
Another angel was called home when Rosalyn Curtin, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at the Liberty Home, 109 Fourth St., Nekoosa. Rosalyn was a former resident of the Parkview Apartments in Wisconsin Rapids.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Luck.

Rosalyn was born May 2, 1922, in Luck to Oscar and Amanda (Sorenson) Johnson.?Her marriage to David Curtin ended in divorce.

Rosalyn was a cook for many years at Ebbe's Lake Aire and was the former co-owner of the Nekoosa Cafe.

She is survived by four children, Kathy (Frank) Hansen of Fort Atkinson, Susan (Michael) Rajchel of Wisconsin Rapids, and David (Gail) Curtin and Vicky (Elwood) Finup, both of Nekoosa; nine grandchildren, Suzanne, Joseph, Paulette, Carrie, Jenny, Christopher, Daniel, Niki and Kimberly; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Pearl Rose, Evelyn Lockett and Lorraine Dudek; and one brother, Cleve Johnson.

Memorials may be designated to the American Heart Association.
