Calculating Jeremiah Lockett's
Possible Birth years

In almost all the other references I have seen in other researchers family trees to Jeremiah Lockett Sr., his birth year is usually listed as1766 or 1776. I believe that is because those researchers have relied on only one or two of the Census years in which Jeremiah appeared. Below are images from the 1810, 1820 and 1830 United Sates Federal Census for Bedford County Virginia in which Jeremiah Lockett appeared. Assuming that the head of the household is the oldest individual (in this case Jeremiah Lockett Sr.) we can combine the three census age ranges to narrow down his possible years of birth.
